The Parlour

Most owners bring their dogs via the front entrance there fore do not see the Parlour, so here is an inside view.
This is the bath area. Purposely raised and panel slopes back to gain good foot hold.
A variety of shampoos and conditioners are on hand. The most commonly used ones are to the left on the wall in non drip, squirt containers.
The warm water is delivered via a shower hose fitting from an electric shower.
This is the trimming area.
The dogs stand on the bench and all grooming takes place here. All tools are to hand.
Rough trimming first, followed by the bath, (see above) then lastly, the dry and finish clip.
The telephone is by the bench so at no time is the dog left alone.
(The two cavaliers in the picture are extremely well trained therefore could be left for a few seconds.)
This is the Cage Area where the dogs go before and after their work is being carried out. Cages are important not only for security but also so as no fighting takes place and no dogs get frightened of others.
Also clean dogs do not mix with dirty ones!
This is the other end of the bench where the dryer and the grooming equipment is kept.
